So what does this mean for charities and who exactly is Enthuse?

Enthuse’s solutions are customised under a cause’s own brand and put the organisation in control of the data. This allows charities to build and nurture a loyal supporter base, raise more and ultimately have more impact.

As soon as you log in, you will be taken to the “Verification centre”. In order for us to transfer all funds that your fundraisers have raised for you, we need you to enter your bank details on this page.

Fundraising pages drive 100% activation rates
Fundraising page creation will be integrated with the event registration process. The participant will be automatically taken to their page after registration to inspire fundraising. No account creation required.
Milestones and badges drive healthy competition. Fundraisers can upload videos, photos and live-streaming for increased supporter interaction.
At the TCS London Marathon, a participant’s fundraising pages will be integrated with the London Marathon official app, meaning that supporters tracking a fundraiser’s progress can easily donate and see the participant’s finish time automatically posted to the fundraising page.
Each event run by London Marathon Events will have its own unique official fundraising platform set up by Enthuse

Enthuse is the official online fundraising platform for London Marathon Events. LMEL chose to partner with Enthuse for its branded fundraising pages which increase awareness of charities versus consumer giving platforms. Fundraising pages and donation receipts will be fully branded with the logo and colours of the charity that the participant has chosen to support. For participants the fundraising page creation will feel seamless and like part of the registration process, with no need to create a separate account.
Enthuse also puts the charity in control of its communications and data. The partnership means charities will have full access to real time fundraising and donations data and insights and analytics for their supporters participating in any of the portfolio of events run by London Marathon Events via a centralised account for all events.
Enthuse also impressed LMEL with its energy and ambition, and innovative approach to disrupt fundraising through its team and tech.
When fundraisers register their ballot places from the LMEL site and LMEL’s third party event registration platform, Enthuse will create a fundraising page for them so they can start raising funds right away. Participants will receive an email with a link to the fundraising page to prompt them to start raising money for your cause. This is a frictionless journey for fundraisers, meaning they start fundraising for your cause faster and feel like they never left the LMEL site.
As well as charity places, Enthuse is the official fundraising partner for the general and ballot entries for all LMEL events, which means if a participant chooses to run for charity they will select it from the drop down menu on the LMEL site or app. This means charities who register with Enthuse will benefit from additional funds from participants who want to raise money for good causes but who don’t have a charity place.
Charities can of course choose to fundraise with alternative fundraising platforms if they wish.

Enthuse is a B2B platform which means that it puts charities first. This means the charity’s brand and logo are at the forefront of official LMEL fundraising pages. This is a better experience for supporters than consumer platforms and means that the fundraising pages which are shared with family, friends and peers of fundraisers create a network brand awareness effect for each charity.
Enthuse also puts charities in control of their own data and marketing communications, and never emails supporters with details of competing fundraising campaigns. It also commits to never resell a charity’s data.
Enthuse and LMEL have also decided to use the tipping model by default. However, if a charity prefers, Donor Cover Fee can be implemented (this was Virgin Money Giving’s fee model).
Both LMEL and Enthuse believe that competition should thrive in the sector and that charities should have a choice between fundraising platforms. Enthuse has a different value proposition to Just Giving meaning there is more choice for charities and fundraisers.

We encourage charities who haven’t partnered with Enthuse before to complete the onboarding process in order to receive funds raised for their causes, as well as benefit from branded fundraising pages and real-time data. There is no subscription charge for the platform for charities registered on the LMEL pages. The Enthuse registration process is very simple and can be completed here. No, there is no subscription fee for marathon fundraising.
Enthuse charges 1.9% + 20p per transaction to cover the cost of the card fee. There is a small additional fee for processing Gift Aid on behalf of the charity. This is 5% of the Gift Aid value only.
